Fundraising
In all the excitement of posting up these pics with the new camera
adapter we just got in the mail- I don’t want to forget to mention
how great fundraising has been going!
We’re up to $3,471 of our $5,000 goal. People
have been contributing from the road as we’ve been sharing our
business cards and blog with everyone who comes up and says:
“HEY- IS IT HOT ENOUGH For yA?!?”
We’ve also met a great collection of people who have worked,
lived, eaten, played, biked, hiked and more with individuals
affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. It’s been really
inspiring, everyone loves us for our fundraising goal and the best
part is how much we’ve learned along the way. I wanted to choose
a charity that we weren’t familiar with and we didn’t live inside
every day in Boston like bicycle advocacy etc. Well, we’re
halfway through the trip and I think that linking up with the
Autism-Society was the best decision we made.
Thanks to all who have donated- I just did a
little update on the donation page so if you haven’t already… You
can check it out here:

Memo:
To all the people over the course of today who will approach us
and say “Is it hot enough for ya?” Let’s save each some precious
time and clear this up here and now.. Yes. It is.
General Delivery
Did you forget to tell us how much you loved us before we left
AND forget to send us something to
Kansas City?! Well, our next big stop is Pueblo, CO where we will
pick up the final leg of our Adventure Cycling Maps called the
Western Express Route. These maps will take us all the way to San Francisco and the
maps themselves have pictures of the desert and one has coyotes,
sweet.
You can send us whatever you think we will need.. snake guards,
new socks, Red Bull energy shots (seriously) etc. etc. to:

Here it is. I waited until I was in your home state and put on
your shirt so the burn was as bad as possible. No handed riding
with a Bob trailer. Ian Sutton, eat your heart out.

I have a futon in the back of my truck you could sleep in! Oh, but
it might smell like trout.

If You're Just Tuning In...
We’re in the high desert of Utah- far from the supple rolling
hills of 3G East of the Mississip. so if you haven’t spoken to us
on the phone lately here’s a quick review. Bianca rode 300+ miles
on only three speeds, Greg hasn’t slept in a tent for weeks,
Princess is being a putz, Utah is beautiful but crazy, BOB is
looking bloated, iPad is doing swell, Glinda is working double
time, Evan is awaiting our arrival, and California better get
ready cause we’re less than two weeks away.
Will try to get some photos of Karl Malone and some beehives up
from Cedar City mañana. For now, good night.
